« on: Monday 12 February 24 19:12 GMT (UK) »
Hi all,

I have hit a dead end researching the following man:

Joseph Timms
Born 1792 Shackerstone, Leicestershire
Died 1871 Leicestershire

I am basically wanting to find: His parents names & any siblings

If anyone can help, it would be much appreciated.
Thank you

Joseph Timms baptised Shakerstone August 19 1792, son of Joseph and Debaro Timms.

Joseph Timms (of the parish of Shackerstone) and Deborah Cockram OTP were married at St Helens, Ashby de la Zouch on 10 Nov 1791, witnesses Saml Cockram and Wm Rice (or maybe Price?). Both signed their names.

I can't see any more children for this couple, so this burial may be significant:

Joseph Timms; Ashby de la Zouch, 19 May 1793

then this marriage:

Deborah Timms (signed her name) m Henry Dennis, Ashby de la Zouch, 13 April 1800 -- witnesses Joseph Hallam and Walter Joseph Cockram. This couple had 5 children over the next 10 years - Sarah, Samuel, William, another Samuel, and Deborah.

Deborah Dennis was buried at Ashby on July 4 1848, age 81 (so YOB 1767).

She is in the 1841 census age 70, with Henry, a grocer age 60, daughter Deborah age 25, and a male servant.

Thank you Annie, that's exceptional information thank you very much!

Can I trouble you with one more little mystery?

Robert Timms, born about 1778/79, died 2nd Apr 1850 Walcote, Misterton, Leicestershire
Married Mary Lester in 1810

Do you have anything about his parents? and/or siblings?
