The mystery of the sign or coat of arms?
« on: Tuesday 13 February 24 15:52 GMT (UK) »
Hello again, dear forum participants! I saw an interesting symbol on the cover. This photo. I'm very interested in what this sign means. Paper, embossing and spider paper :) I will be glad to receive any advice :)

Not much help I am afraid, the very centre has two flags ,well long flags maybe Oriflammes ,the sacred banner of St,Dennis.
Presented to. French Kings by the abbot of St.Dennis when they set off for war.
They would also be rallying points in battle.
Just a chance this may be helpful

Symbol/logo of the photographer or maker of the mount?

Is there is a name anywhere on the photo to cross check?

It looks llike a nice expensively produced photo in keeping with this sort of embossing.

Unfortunately, there is nothing at all, no more records and no stamps either. I'll attach more photos now. I’m thinking, can’t these flags be the logo of a photo studio?
Thanks!

I set up a reverse image search for the coat of arms. There are a lot of results for you to trawl through, just in case there is an exact one. I have no idea how long this link will survive.

Thank you! I've already tried searching like this, but I can't find anything...

The enlargement shows there is an elongated cross on each of the banners.

The hooky things on each side look like my washing line pole ,the line would not slip out of those !
Hope you solve the mystery .
