Thanks for the link Gadget.

We have had all our boosters so far and if the Scottish Government offer a Spring Booster we will certainly take it.

Keep safe and well.

I am afraid to say we have not had any injections against Covid.

Our doctor told us the flu had been renamed that word.
Many of our acquaintances who have had the jab did in fact contract covid...and were quite ill.

So it's a NO from us. 😉

So far, I have had the 2 original Covid jabs, plus 3 boosters.
But then I have diabetes, and considered vulnerable.

I have known personally 2 people who died from Covid.

I will definitely have the booster.

Thank you Gadget for the link to the article in the Guardian. Very interesting. Thankfully hubby and I are both over 75 so will get the booster.

My daughter and her husband who are both in their mid 50's will not qualify for the Spring Booster. They did get the last one as they help a 95 year old aunt when needed and are her official carers. I see from the article that they may be able to pay £45 and have it done privately which I think they will do. My 21 and 18 year old grandsons have refused to have any Covid jags and have had mild Covid twice. Recently they had that horrible cold and cough virus that is doing the rounds and they reckoned that was worse than having Covid. Oh to have the constitution of a youngster!!

Marianthompson that is your personal choice not to have any of the injections and like my grandsons I respect that.

Although fully vaccinated we both had Covid in March 2023 after attending my sister's Ruby Wedding Party. As did many of the other guests. It was like having a very heavy cold with a touch of flu thrown in for good measure. It took a good few weeks to get over it but without the jags I hate to think how ill we may have been.

My Wife has had all the Covid-19 Primary, Booster and Flu vaccines and only seemed to test positive over the same group of days.

I think of the hard work and long hours by dedicated Medical Staff.

Deleted airway link and keep within title subject.
