William Pollit born 1851 Burnley or Blackburn

I cant find any parents or his death, his marriage to Susannah Smith in 1881 Blackburn and a census in 1881 and that is it. Can anybody help ?

I see he was an iron moulder and that there is no father's name on his marriage record. He signs his surname as Pollitt.

In the 1891 census at 5 Back Lane Padiham there is William (46, iron moulder) Pollitt and Susannah (36) Pollitt with two girls with surname English (Sarah Ann 14, and Edith 11), described as daughters, and 4 Pollitt children.

Also a possible sighting in Bradford in 1901 but with a different wife (Mary Ann)  two Barrowclough children and a son David aged 3.

Susannah English nee' Smith remarried Reynolds Barker/Barket Hardman 1898 dq Blackburn. Appears in 1901 census with husband and 4 Pollitt children
