Need a fresh pair of eyes as going mad  trying to find this couple in 1861. Would not be the Cardiff area as 1863 registration area changed to Pontypridd.

Have all info on family and Jane remarriage in 1873 except 1861 to find info on John Barnfield (will be obtaining Marriage cert) cannot locate death for him in area.

Thanks if you can help with 1861 or death of John..thinking he may have disappeared not died.

Think it may very well be last child born 1871 so would have to be alive 1870. Gives me an inkling of his age, will look further..still no luck with finding 1861

There is a John Barnfield age 17 in Llantwit Vaidre in the 1851 census with parents and siblings according to familysearch. Born and baptised Horsley, Gloucestershire.

Looks a good possible, checking out same family,  1841 family in Llanwunno..right age and area.
