Hi Sue thanks very much.  I'm sure he had children if indeed that is the correct person!

It could possibly be him on the 1980 electoral roll if he was born c 1926ish.  Shame I cannot view the NSW BDM as that would sort it all out for me.  Especially with exact names and dates of the children's births of Charles John Carberry and Annie Veronica.

I guess I will have to purchase Annies death certificate and hopefully the kids will be on that!!

Yes, and his last known address was from the 2004 White Pages which prompted me to search the surrounding cemeteries.

   Thanks for Annies burial information.  Seems a strange choice of cemetery!  Anyway I will order her DC today and see what turns up. I noted the incorrect spelling of her surname which is nothing unusual I guess.

On the marriage certificate of Charles John Carberry and Annie Veronica Ryan it has her parents as Michael RYAN (deceased) and Martianer? BRINE.  This I believe is possibly Martiner O'Brien.

Annie was born in Kew NSW.  Not sure of her parents origins.  Many thanks for all the help. Dianna
