Nothing jumps off the page with those details (wriggle room) for Lily  (no surname) on the 1939

Just throwing a wild stab in and there may be no link at all but on freebmd there is a death for a Lily Lennox in 1972 Cleveland - date of birth recorded as 7 July 1897

Only Lily - Lennoox  marriage  that I can see so far is

Q 2 1938  Lilly Hugill to George W Lennox, Middlesbrough.

1939 has this Lily as born 2 March 1908.

Nothing in Scotland.

Could it be a second marriage ??
