Not too sure about the Hurdsfield marriage in 1859.

Reason:

23 February 1857 - Prestbury

Philip Mottershead, 24, WIDOWER, Labourer.  Father:  Philip, Labourer
Ann Whittaker, 29, Spinster.  Father:  Samuel, Cotton Dresser

A witness is Eliza Mottershead

There are a lot of Mottersheads living in this area.
