So far I have not found these partners in Trade Directories but am keen to find their forenames and if the VARDY family connect with the architect John VARDY 1718-1765 and carver Thomas VARDY mentioned in the Wiki below.

J L Green was John Lewis Green. You can find him in the 1921 census in Uxbridge RD.

Vardy was Rowland Barnard Vardy, born in South Africa circa 1886. The 1921 census gives one of his places of work as 79 Essex Road (indexed as Rowland Barraw Vardy).
