Please could I have a transcription and translation of the above burial which I located on MyHeritage.

The entry looks very challenging, but the link is as follows:

I can give you 2 burials for the price of one, because the one following Nicolas is that of his wife.

Le 9 avril 1737 a esté inhumé dans le cimetiere

Defrance ses fils et des tesmoings soussigné par

Le dixiesme du mesme mois Marie Grenier

Burial on 9 April 1737 of Nicolas Defrance, around 70 years old, in the local churchyard of Neslette, in presence of his 2 sons, Nicolas & Michel Defrance.

Burial on the 10th of the same month of Marie Grenier, wife of the said Nicolas Defrance, around ... years old (left blank by the priest), in the local churchyard of Neslette.

Wow, two for the price of one!

Thank you very much Zefiro. I am amazed at your skill and ability to transcribe and translate such challenging French documents.

I am trying to determine whether Nicolas Defrance is the father of my 5x great grandfather Jean Defrance, along with his children Nicolas and Michel given in his burial record.

If I can find any records, I will try and come back again.

Thank you
