Hartfield Street, Glasgow
« on: Thursday 22 February 24 19:37 GMT (UK) »
Hi all.
I am trying to find out who lived at 30 Hartfield Street, Townhead, Glasgow in 1921.
It doesn't seem to come up in the census.
Can anyone help?

See the attached screenshots from the Valuation Rolls at www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk - looks as if it is/was a tenement with 12 flast.

Never trust anything you find online (especially submitted trees and transcriptions on Ancestry, MyHeritage, FindMyPast and other commercial web sites) unless it's an image of an original document - and even then be wary because errors can and do occur.

Going to the index to the valuation rolls on ScotlandsPeople, clicking on 1920 (the nearest date), entering "Glasgow Burgh" and "30 Hartfield", the following tenants come up:

John Campbell
Alexander Clarkston
James Grant
William Kelly
Edward Lee
Robert McBride
Constantine MacDermid
John MacGuire
Mrs Kate MacPhillips
Andrew T. Morrow
Mrs Jane Smith
