This is presumably him though if the action was in April 1917 it took a long time to give him the medal.

Morpeth Herald & Reporter Friday 8 Feb 1918
BLYTH MAN WINS D.C.M
The Distinguished Conduct Medal has been awarded to C.S.M. R. C. Henderson, N.F., of Blyth. He took command of a platoon when its officer was a casualty, and led the men to their objective. During the consolidation of the captured position he did splendid work in directing the operations under very difficult conditions and heavy fire.

Same item in the Newcastle Journal of 7 Feb 1918

There is a very long article in the Morpeth Herald, 26th October 1917 about CSM Henderson's actions at the Battle of Arras, and there it's stated that he'd been awarded the Military Medal.
At a ceremony at the Theatre Royal in Blyth he and another Blyth resident, Sergeant Dillon, had been presented with gold watches by the Merit and Homecoming Committee.

Apart from using FindMyPast you can also search the British Newspaper Archive and as I read it you can see three articles for free.
