The above was the son of Benjamin James Palmer 1876-1962 and Anne or Annie Rosser 1879-1926. He appeared on the 1921 Census with his parents at 16 Gardner Road, Bromley. Then he married Alice Dorothy Parker (b 27 Jun 1910) Q3 1936 at Bermondsey, she seems to have died Jan 1999 at Enfield, Greater London.
However, I can find no records for William after his marriage?

The only records would be the 1939 register/ births of any children/his death

If he is not on the 1939 register he may have been called up.  Have you checked if he died in WW2

What is his connection to your FH?  If you are descended from one of his children - is that child still alive?

Who reported Alice’s death?  Is she shown as a widow? 

What was his exact birthdate as there are several William H Palmer deaths
