Ceinwen  Jeanne Hopkins  born  5th November   1931  registered  Merthyr Tydfil  Glamorgan
Her mother`s maiden name was Lewis

I am trying to find  Ceinwen Parent`s Name Please

Ceinwen married   Glyn E Rourke   December  Qtr 1953 

She was  raised  in Treycynon and  LLwyndcoed    Aberdare 

I am unable to find  Ceinwen on the 1939 Register

Ceinwen appears to be the only Hopkins - Lewis birth in Merthyr around that time. There is a marriage of a Jenkin M Hopkins to Ivy L Lewis in Merthyr, Jul-Sep 1933, so after the birth. Maybe a look.

Isn’t it simpler to buy the birth certificate?

Jenkin Morgan Hopkins and wife Ivy are on the 1939 register in Bargoed, with one redacted individual. I know quite a few people still redacted despite their deaths.

Many thanks for  your  help have found the parents

 David H  Hopkins and  Ceinwen  B  Lewis they married in 1919

  Sadly  the mother Ceinwen B  Hopkins nee  Lewis died only 10 days following her daughter
   Ceinwen   birth  in 1931

Good news Heddwch, if sad. I had looked for marriages from 1920 🙄

So her father married again (understandably) and had another daughter. Ceinwen likely another redacted record on the 1939.
