« on: Friday 01 March 24 14:48 GMT (UK) »
Hi.
Looking for the where abouts of William James Taylor William's born willesden middlesex in 1859. Father Robert and mother Jane Taylor.
After the 1891 census he disappears but theres reason to believe he pops up in broken hill new south Wales in 1903.
There is a death of a William j Williams in willesden in 1923 but that's not him.
If anyone can find him on any immigration records ect I'd be truley grateful.  Thank you .

Does he marry?

Did he have a son William Robert who married in 1909 naming his father William James deceased
licenced victualler (same as the last census you have)
Hinchliffe - Huddersfield Wiltshire
Burroughs - Arlingham Glos

Yes 1878 but she died 1888.
He’s a widow on the 1891 census. He had a sons Cecil j Williams born 1888. And William r s Williams 1879.
William James Taylor Williams left his sons with family to go to Australia .

He married 1st Sophia Sedgemore 1878. Haggerston

1891 He is in Kent with his parents and 2 of his children (William and Cecil) no wife.(AMENDED to correct children's names)

There is another marriage of William James T Williams 1888 reg. Crediton Devon to wither Ada Blanche Greenslade or Emily Bull.

I think this is a different man of the same name, as youngest child Cecil James was reg Hackney 1889 with mother's maiden name Sedgemore.

Children of William James Taylor Williams and Sophia Sedgemore
William Robert Sedgemore Williams reg. 1879  St Thomas Devon
Alice Jane  reg 1880  Holborn
Timothy Charles  reg. 1883 St Saviour Surrey - died 1883
Ellen Sophia reg. 1884  St Saviour Surrey
Cecil James reg. 1889   Hackney (March quarter)

Thank you for the information. It’s very kind .
I’m really looking for any immigration records or anything that can pin him in Australia. In 1903 he’s in broken hill nsw but he’s proving to be very elusive.
There’s nothing about him in England after the 1891 census . It’s a real mystery. Thanks for your help. It’s really appreciated.
