Missing Name

There's a baptism dated 1732 in Edlesborough, Bucks for an unnamed male child to parents John and Eleanor Green.  It's on Ancestry's England and Wales Christening Index 1530-1980 and twice on on FindMyPast including the Buckinghamshire Baptism Index.  Neither site offers a copy of the original entry or the Edlesborough PR so I've no idea if the name is obliterated or never noted so is there any point in asking Bucks Archives for a copy of the original entry or accept there is no name to see?

there is a burial of a Thomas Green in  Edlesborough, in 1734 I cant see a baptism just a possibilty
maybe?

Just to round this up, Bucks Archives have confirmed there is a gap in the original.  Took a bit of persuading but now I know.  Always worth double checking.
