No not Charles, but the true King, Elvis Presley.

I got an eMail from Family Search saying he is my 13th Cousin Once Removed.

There was also a Thruline showing how.

I’m done with Genealogy as it does not get any better.

Not sure what to make of this as I also got an email from Family search today saying that Elvis is my 13th cousin (without the once removed bit) so I must be related to you also Biggles50! Connection is through my Hunter ancestors on my mother's side.

I haven’t received anything but years ago when I was researching my children’s New England ancestry one of the books I looked at estimated that one of the couples that were in Massachusetts by 1640 likely had at least a million descendants.

Different King, but this is quite interesting about if you have English ancestry back to the 1600's, on your probability  of being a descendant of Edward lll

Join the club! Elvis is supposedly.my 11th cousin once removed. Common ancestors James Stewart 2nd Earl of Moray and his wife. The “famous relatives” suggested are as bizarre as they are diverse, from Marie Antoinette to Alfred di Stefan to Lucille Ball. The latest suggestion is saying the late Queen is my  10th cousin twice removed making me related to Prince William. The thing is it has been saying for a while I am related to William and Harry through their mother on both Diana’s paternal and maternal lines. Intriguingly it is saying Francis Shand Kidd is my fourth cousin which is not too distant. I am sure Diana’s tree will be correct and I am sure my tree up to my great great grandfather is correct however I do not have that next generation in my tree that supposedly connects us so I will not put Prince William on my Christmas card list just yet.
