Me too Bumble B, just do exactly as you are advised and if you can rest.

You too deserve a medal or two for fortitude ,some very difficult conditions.
Hope the telephone consultation re your melanoma was encouraging .

Take care and let us know how you go on.
Viktoria.

Many thanks.  I have a mentor for the cataract - OH has gone through it all.  And  melanoma consultant is also very nice and helpful AND no medication for a week.

I hope all goes well with the cataract removal today BumbleB.
That sounds good that they are being thorough with your melanoma treatment.  I wish you well with this too.
I agree with Viktoria that you deserve a medal or two for fortitude for patience in coping whilst these situations are sorted out.

Just a happy update from me .. my Grandson has been able to go into maintenance treatment. :D  Still a long way to go with things but he is now able to return to normal life to a degree.  They have bought him a new uniform and sent me a photo.  He looks so smart and happy!  I am now able to see him again in person.  He loves being back at school (part time) and has also been able to return to his weekly swimming class.  Thank you to everyone who has prayed for him.

I have often thought that you do too R,T,L!

Gruelling journeys and often not well.
How are you now?
Were  expecting a break so I hope it has buoyed you up quite a bit and the good news  about your Grandson too ,lovely.

Another bright morning .
Easy day today , fish and chips for tea.

My friend  of many years in Wales,on The Gower, is 90 tomorrow, she lost her son a little while ago -a very sudden death.
I have sent a card but thought some flowers would also be nice ,well no luck as it is of course Mothering Sunday on Sunday and florists are busy and booked up.Well Welsh ones are !
I will phone tomorrow and send a plant on Monday from our friendly garden centre. That will go into her garden.

Well must get on ,look after yourselves folks .
Viktoria.

Thanks Viktoria, yes it is lovely news re my Grandson.
And yes, I have had my break .. and it truly felt amazing to get enough sleep for a time!  I could become addicted to that.  Back to normal now though.

That is very kind of you to send a Birthday card  and hopefully arrange to send a plant to your poor friend who has lost her son.  It will surely be a sad Mother's Day for her.

A recent happening .. the council workers turned up yesterday and unexpectedly removed the tree stump that has been standing in front of my house.  They felled the huge tree some while back as the branches were falling onto the roof of the neighbours' house and mine.  I thought they were just planning to leave the stump but now it seems surprising to see it gone in entirety.
