« on: Monday 04 March 24 14:55 GMT (UK) »
I have an ancestor named Daniel MACKADAM, dead en nov 1693 -St Martin-In-The-Fields.
I know he had three children. I dont know the name of the mother (I mean the first spouse)

I found a second marriage in 1682. He was widower and his second spouse was very young (18)
I dont know if its the same Daniel ????

Do you think I can find out more about this marriage?.
Elizabeth Sidie ??? daughter of ? Sidie
I don't understand who is Thomas Mackadam ?
Thank you for your help.
Patrick

Note that this is a marriage licence, not a marriage. Three possible parishes are given for the marriage - the license was only "good" for those parishes. If you can't find the marriage in one of those, they may not have ended up actually marrying.

On a license, there was a bond to pay if it turned out false info was given. The allegation (affadavit) refers to the information given, and the person(s) alleging were putting themselves up for a serious financial penalty.  Normally a relative or close friend of the groom.

Here, Thomas Mackadam  could be any sort of relative, father, uncle, older brother, grandfather of Daniel.
