George is down as Criage married Mary Hargreave.

I have cousin up in Sheffiled who has
There is a George Craig buried at Handsworth 7 April 1840 age 41 cannot find death on GRO
George was not on the 1841 census

She Sent to Sheffield Registrar for Georges Death certificate, but no luck they couldn't find one (looking about 1/4/1840) Just before the burial.

Burial has address as Four Lane End - George Craige
The person buried before him was Harriet Cawthorne and the person after was Esther Skelton.

Deaths June qtr 1840   
CAWTHORNE    Harriet        Sheffield    22   395    
Skelton    Esther        Sheffield    22   395   
Gregory    George        Sheffield    22   395   - Have you discounted this entry though the GRO has his age as 31

I am now in possession of George Gregory Death Cert

George died on the 05h April 1840 aged 31.  Occupation Collier.  Death  I cannot work out.

Person who reported death is William Clayton present at the death, Four Lane Ends.

Death is 'Diabetes'

Definitely the same person then as the burial which also gives abode as Four Lane Ends

The informant William Clayton could be a work colleague or neighbour of George.

This might be William in the 1841 census. Residence is Intake.
