I thought she died in 1972, however, if she was born in 1903 and was 72 when she died that would put her death in 1975.
It may well be possible that she divorced.

In 1947 Cheltenham electoral registers a Clifford N Aston is next to a Mary Bradley 
1959 Cheltenham   Clifford M Aston and Mary Aston.
1974 the couple are at the same address as 1959 but there is another  male surname Aston.

I can't name him as he could still be alive.

There's a few trees on Ancestry for Clifford Naurice Aston but only one has him with Ethel
Eunice Richards. 
They are a bit confusing.

Thanks so much again for persevering!
It's now looking probable that Eunice divorced and may have remained in London.
She and Clifford had two children I believe, Martin and Eunice, however, both are dead, the former in 1999 and the latter in 2012.  That much I do know.
