Thanks so much Wilcoxon,
It appears that Mary Aston Bradley Jolly was married before Clifford Aston and brought a son with her.
It is, in fact, very tangled, but I find families usually are  :)
Eunice most likely left the scene a couple of years after WW2 ended.
While writing this I read yours with Elizabeth Mary Aston.  The d.o.b. is that of what I thought was the daughter Eunice, but obviously I have the wrong name.
Very grateful for all your help.

I did a search on Freebmd.
1929 to 1951, a  couple of years either side of known records.
Aston mmn Richards.. Most were in Wales but 3 in England, 
It's a pity the 1939 register is redacted.

I think to be absolutely sure about these you would need birth certificates.
Some of then are on trees and have the right father but another Richards mother.

Ethel Eunice is probably in North Wales soon after the war. One child at least married in that area - in 1952
