How can I find a man in Wimbledon 1950-60s

The information I have has come from the lady in question who's in her 80s. She's said that they lived in Kingsway, Wimbledon, London so I have no reason to think it's not true, however time and memory may have distorted the full truth as I haven't found anything at all which backs up this information.  It's interesting to note that Rosie99 has found a possible in Surrey for that period.  I'll check that out as you have to follow all leads.

Exactly what kind of info are you hoping to find?  There are no censuses for that period & unless they were famous (or infamous) & appear in any newspaper articles  there would be very little to find

I've found what I was looking for now thanks to Rosie99. She suggested the telephone directories for that period and Surrey rather than where I had tried. It worked and I found the family home etc. It's still standing and I've even got the old telephone number  plus the years they lived there.  I'm now able to search on Facebook for the schools in that area to see if there's any school pictures she might appear in as an infant or in high school.
