If it helps the witnesses to the marriage of Henry Pinchback to Hannah Smith 22 April 1833 at St Nicholas, Nuneaton
were Thomas Smith and Martha Smith.

Thank you, I haven't given up but Thomas and surprisingly Martha are very common in the area.

There's a few I'm currently looking at:
  • Thomas Smith b. abt 1808 Nuneaton, abode Abbey Street 1841 Census, wife Mary
  • Martha Smith (nee Shaw) b. abt 1808 Nuneaton, abode Abbey Street 1841 Census, husband William Smith b abt. 1801 married 1826
  • Mary Smith b. abt 1806 Nuneaton, abode Coventry Road1841 Census (only ‘Smith’ in same district as Hannah), husband John Smith b. abt. 1792  (long shot – picked just for proximity)

I've confirmed two Martha's that it isn't:
  • Martha Smith – b. 1771 Chilvers Coton (William & Mary)
          Married John White 1792
  • Martha Smith – b. 1813 Chilvers Coton (John & Mary)
          Died in infancy
