Hello,

James KEEFE/O'KEEFE was baptised on 18/02/1827 in St. Gregory's RC Church, Cheltenham, his parents being Daniel and Mary.

Could someone kindly confirm his exact name in the baptism records, if at all possible.

Apparently the Gloucestershire Family History Society transcription records the name as Kief.

"KIEF" was the name transcribed, but it appears later that was only one of many variations.
