Deciphering wording on old gravestone

Hello,

This is an old gravestone on some of my wife's family's land. We believe it is for Catherine Adina Miller, d. 18 February 1951 in Carr, New Market, Saint Elizabeth, Jamaica. She married Albert Pryce in 1909 and had five (known) children. Based on her death certificate, she was born c. 1888, and based on her marriage certificate she was born c. 1885. I haven't yet been able to locate her birth certificate, although she was likely born in the New Market area.

There is also daughter Gertel who signs the death certificate of Catherine Adina PRYCE. Likely this Gertel Louise AGUIAR, birth date 11 Dec 1911 (which does not quite fit with the birth of Rosina above)

Yes, we reached the same conclusions as you. We have yet to make enquiries with the Registrar General's Department here to see if Roslin/Gertel and Francella/Ida formally changed their names via deed poll, or whether it was just an informal change. Curiously, both of them migrated to the U.S., so one would imagine some level of birth name-related documentation was required at that time, or at least in order to secure a passport.
