Patrick Rubery & Annie Hynes (Hines/Hind) were my 2x ggs. Sadly, I don't have much family history. Their daughter Maude (& Homer Nichols) were my ggs. On Annie's death certificate Patrick's birth location was listed as Dublin, Ireland and Annie's was Glasgow, Scotland. Info provided by their daughter, Catherine May Nichols. But I suspect those locations may both be incorrect. Most docs I've seen simply Ireland for Patrick & Annie, but I've seen some mentions of Galway for Patrick.

Parkhurst inmate list states Patrick's father's name was also Patrick. But I'm getting hints from Ancestry that Patrick's parents could be Peter Ruberry & Ann (Nancy) Fahey. I haven't worked it all out yet...but maybe this could help someone?

And this American knows the distance between Galway & Dublin.

Correction for clarity: That was Catherine May Nichols reporting on Maude's death certificate. Info related to Maude's parents, who's names are recorded as "unknown" simply the birth locations listed for Patrick & Annie.
