As no year was mentioned or age I did find this marriage

Parish of Nortallerton 24 September 1917
Edward Smith age 43 widower occupation groom father John Smith ( blacksmith )
Ethel Blackburn age 30 spinster father Christopher Blackburn ( plumber )
Both of Nortallerton witnesses James Cowell and William Wright

If you have access to Ancestry there are 24 trees for this couple but just be careful always check the information is correct
