Heaton family
« on: Wednesday 13 March 24 19:43 GMT (UK) »
Hello I'm trying to locate the parents and siblings of Ralph Heaton b 1816 in London.  He married Sarah Hawkins in 1855 and had 3 children.  His father is recorded as Patrick, a farmer.  On the parish birth register of his son, Ralph b1866, the Godfather is named as Michael Heaton.  I'd like to find out more about Ralph 's father, his mother and siblings. Thank you

Difficult to find records so far back before civil registration. Would start with trying to track down Michael Heaton in England.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

Thanks. That's a good idea. I think I'll put this on the General message board instead of just Ireland
