Thanks Carole, i've actually got all of Williams other records, DOB, Parents etc, it was only his 2nd marriage to Gwen in Ontario I was missing 

Close match on the parents marriage, but not quite a match.  His parents were Joseph Edwards and Annie Wright married in Auckland, Country Durham, England 1898

What did you use as your search Criteria Sandra? I've tried searching for William Wright Edwards (with and without quotes), used a date range, set country to United states, filtered by obituaries and no filter at all, and i can't get a match for that funeral you found?

Just want to make sure i'm not missing any tips or tricks which it looks like i might be!

For the marriage, basic Canada info - Gwendolyn Wanda Wilson - birth 19-05 =/- 5 years - Ontario.

United States - William W Edwards - 1899 - Minnesota and up popped the death date in Minnesota.

Went to Newspapers.Com (have subscription) and with the help of the death date, the death/obit appeared.
