No Problem
I find most people looking for WW1 Medal entitlement tend to Only find on Ancestry the Main Medal Index Card
Which shows Regts and Numbers and Entitlement to Medals and Date of Embarkation into Theatre of War if prior to 31 December 1915 which is where I always start with first.
Then next in Ancestry Military I search the Number on the Medal Roll under section heading
"British Service Medals and Awards" on page 3 of 6 in  "View in all Card Catalogue"
The 1914/15 Star can be under their First Number and then the other Two British War Medal and Victory Medal under their 1917 New Number at Discharge or Death

Excellent. I'll have a look into that.

Presumably, by 'number'  you mean the service number?

Would I need any of the details shown on that image I posted? The Roll seems to be LC 101 (105?) then squiggle 142. The page is 14469.

Thanks for that info.

Sorry but could I ask what is the source of the image shown in the original post?

I have a relatives medal record that shows a victory medal awarded.

How could I get a similar image as that shown? - see attached extract from the medal card.

Thanks.

Yes  - Service Number

Your Post shows Two Medals were Issued - Both British War Medal and Victory Medal  those Refs have no relevance to your search.

The Card shows he was awarded both Medals because he went Overseas in 1916/17

Can you post the whole page for me to see ?

Thanks for that. Good to get a little more information.

I'll bear that in mind when doing other searches.
