My paternal Great-Grandmother was a Vanstone.

I will check our family tree but believe it was via my great uncle (William Richard Vanstone Roberts) whose middle name was from his line. I think there might also have been a Jersey link but will check and let you know if this is the case

I spoke with my father and he believes that a great grandmother of my Uncle William (Wally) was a Vanstone. We did some family history research and he's going to check this.

I have 2 members of the Vanstone family who were born in Jersey:

My 2nd great grandfather was Ascott James Vanstone, b1842 Jersey, d1916 Bath.
His brother, Matthew John Vanstone, b1843 Jersey, d 1879 Bath.
There was another brother, Samuel Henry, but he died in infancy.
