I'm trying to find out whether my great aunt and uncle were married in Scotland.

I believe they were buried there but do not have the location or where and when they married.

I have found that Janet died 5.5.1990 (aged 71) - not sure whether she was born in Scotland and to whom?

My great uncle William (known as Wally) was born in Devonport Plymouth 18.6.1919 and died in Camden, London 27.6.1987. Records show he was cremated there but another lister found a grave via Ancestry stating he was laid to rest in Scotland with Janet.

Also they had 3 children but believe as Wally served in the forces overseas that this could be the reason it is tricky to trace their whereabouts.

Any help to try to find birth and marriage date for Janet (and if the children were born in Scotland would be really appreciated

great thanks.....I wonder where the children were born as I believe Uncle Wally lived in Singapore and Hong Kong as a serving officer
