Welcome from me too.

Is this son George buried 8 July 1810 (parents Robert (labourer) and Jane at Brinklow.

And just to note that the witness James THOMPSON signs a few of the marriages at Hillmorton, so possibly a curate etc.

Thank you for your replies  :)
This is the information I have. Thier children, George (1810) Thomas (1812) James (1820) William (1822)
Robert (1825) Louisa (1827) Jane (1829) and Betty (1834).
Apparently they moved to Grimsbury and both died there. If it's possible I would like to find where he was born and if he had brothers and sisters. There is a few Golby families in the same areas but I can't find a link to any of them.
Thank you again  8)

Any idea when he may have died?

Did he appear on any census at all?  If so that will have his birthplace or at least indicate if born in the same County or not (1841 census only)

A family tree has his death in 1854 Banbury Oxon but not sure how accurate the information is.
His birth is shown as 1785 Middleton Cheney Northants.

It has the correct wife you mention and 3 of the children listed - George, Thomas, James.

Parents of Robert are down as Thomas & Elizabeth.

The only sibling listed is an Alice who died as a baby.

Hi milliepede.
The possible dates I have for Robert is 1787 to 1849. I have looked at Thomas and Elizabeth from Middleton cheney before. I have screenshots showing they had 7 kids,
The dates I have are from someone who has also done the family tree and that's as far back as he could get, he done his research in the 70s. His marriage is Goldby then changes to Golby.

Robert, son of Thomas & Elizabeth Golby, baptised 13th November 1785 in Middleton Cheney, Northants. Image of the parish register available to view on Ancestry.

Middleton Cheney and Grimsbury are very close and both under the postal town of Banbury. The hamlet of Clifton is also in the Banbury area. Seems very likely that this is the correct baptism for your Robert.

Thomas & Elizabeth baptised multiple children in Middleton Cheney, starting from 1776; images can be viewed on Ancestry. Thomas Golby and Elizabeth Dickens married on Christmas Day 1775 in Middleton Cheney.
