NSW- Paddington Girls School - where was it?
« on: Tuesday 19 March 24 12:15 GMT (UK) »
Hi all. Just hoping someone may be able to help me with "Paddington Girls School" located at Paddington in Sydney, NSW.
I can't seem to find any information on its whereabouts, or if it still exists. I presume that it may have had a name change or amalgamated with another school.
I have a reference for great grandmother being a student there in 1915.
Thanks, Katharine.

Have looked and looked but not come up with anything yet. At one stage, wondered if it was Paddington Public School (formerly Paddington Central School) but have since dismissed that idea. will get back to you if I do come up with anything.

Thanks for replies.
Merlin - I am a little confused. I had a look through the two documents. I could not see specific reference to Paddington Girls School, but the fact that Paddington was a co-ed school. Did I miss something?
I would agree that it is probably the school I am after, but I just found it confusing as the newspaper article from 1915 referred to 'Paddington Girls School'.
