Reaching out for help as I'm trying to help a friend.
Apologises, but I do have limited information to start with so hoping for a miracle.

We are trying to locate an Edward Goodman, I have no birth or death details on him but I do have his marriage in 1923 in Edmonton to Kathleen Edith Martin. Kathleen Edith was born 1894 in Edmonton.

They had 2 daughters: Mary Alice Goodman born 1924 and Margaret Goodman born 1928 both Edmonton.

Shortly after the birth of his second daughter, Edward left and was never seen or heard from again.

The family would love to know where he ended up, who his parents were and when he died. (Rumours of prison have been mentioned too)

The marriage certificate should, if he was honest, show his age, occupation and also the name and occupation of his father.

Looked for Kathleen on 1939 Register;  one in Seaford, Sussex shown as divorced.

Kathleen did stay in Edmonton and Enfield

Prison for 6mths

Offence 1929 & shown as 31 so born approx 1897/98

Freebmd has 2 births in 1898 - one in Amersham who was illegitimate & one in Kensington mmn Driscoll

George William Goodman married Kate Driscoll 1895 Kensington

Marriage cert needs to be purchased to progress further
