I presume they would be in Enfield or Edmonton as Edward marries in Edmonton in 1923.
Unsure of where he died, where he was in 1939 or which prison he entered and left in 1929

Thank you for helping

He's been found in Tottenham in 1932, but still nothing after that.

From Electoral Registers
1922 14 Edenbridge Road, Ealing - Mary Jane Meek & Edward Goodman
1925 28 Queen Anne's Gardens, Edmonton - Mary Jane Meek
1925 44 Faversham Avenue, Edmonton - Edward Goodman & Kathleen Edith Goodman
1927-28 13 Queen Anne's Gardens, Edmonton - Edward Goodman & Kathleen Edith Goodman
1930-39 13 Queen Anne's Gardens, Edmonton - Kathleen Edith Goodman

Here is a longer report of the 1932 trial and the previous employment referred to in the report links this man directly to Edwards job/employer given in the 1921 census.

Edward Goodman of 13 Queen Anne's Gardens was declared bankrupt in 1927 https://www.thegazette.co.uk/Edinburgh/issue/14376/page/1091

There is another trial in 1936 where an Edward Goodman (reported age 44 from 13 Greek Street W1) and Robert John Grimwood are sentenced to 5 years for theft of jewellery in Folkestone whilst posing as a potential house purchasers. Both were reported to have previous convictions.

I've found that Edward was convicted in Folkestone for a total of 9 years.
That now brings me up to 1945.
His great grand daughter has potentially found a death but I have no subscription to look, however I have searched the GRO and none seem to match.

The 1952 Goodman article is about Robert Michael Goodman aged 26.

That was 4 years and 5 years to run concurrently.

There is another trial for Fraud in April 1952 reported as "Peter Edward Goodman (55) Surveyor of Devere Gardens, Kensington" where along with a co-defendant he is sentenced to 15 months imprisonment".  Goodman was said to have 6 previous convictions the last being in 1936. In the 1952 Electoral registers there is no Peter Goodman at Devere Gardens but there is an Edward Goodman living alone.

A good candidate for Edwards death would be this one:
