Essex County Lunatic Asylum in South Weald
« on: Saturday 23 March 24 20:40 GMT (UK) »
Does anyone know if the Essex Record Office in Chelmsford have records for the above Asylum?  I'm interested in someone there on the 1881 census and wondering if it's worth a visit?

Try this reference.  There are a large number of items, so you will probably need to refine the search.

Thanks Ashton.  It's the case books I'm looking for and the ERO have them - I'll definitely be visiting :)
