They did tend to tell a few "fibs" - probably trying to hide away from the past.
Think they may have immigrated at different times.

On a 1920 Canadian Passenger List on the Parisian  - August 1920 - - Mrs Charles Elliott aged 55 years, says she lives in Grefell and immigrated in 1905

This is the husband of Amelia Caroline Elliott/Koepke

Thanks for all your help Sandra I have now found out lots more about the family and Matilda's grave stating the correct dob has convinced me that these are the Elliott family
