Once I had Michael Molony's second marriage in the church records I was able to find it in the civil records - not by searching by his name, but by O'Hanlon's. But what's that he's calling his father? It looks more like Reddery than Reddy

And the wicked stepmother - I looked through the various deaths without any luck - my heart went pit-a-pat when I found one around the right age who was a "provisioner" but no, her son PJ Moloney was on the spot, so not her.

Ahh. Thank you. They have her initials reversed?
Check the column headings at the top of the page. H is her foreman and M is her surname just like I put in search boxes.

Father Denis Moloney (deceased)

The surname Reddy appears as Michael's mother (Mary Reddy) in church record.

I took a look to see if Frank/Maurice had applied for a US passport, but no luck; he emigrated to America in 1909 and died in 1967, I think.
Possible he never left U.S. after 1909 and didn't need to apply for a passport.

1930 census with wife Sarah-

1940 census with wife 'Sorca' (Sorcha is the Irish for Sarah)- is this Sarah Agnes or another wife?

Ahh thank you. Yes, most likely Sorca (Sorcha nowadays now that the buailte has been replaced by h) is Sarah. He probably had no reason to return to Ireland, sadly. They seem to have been a family devoid of extension.
Looked it up, and while Helena Molony was a member of the Abbey's Second Company and then promoted to the First Company, she toured in Britain but not in America. Just having a quick look in the Stage Yearbook to see if she appears, but the search takes a kludgy while.

And aha, yes, here she is with various friends - Constance Markievicz and her sister Eva Gore-Booth, Nellie Gifford, Seán Connolly - in two productions from the Stage Yearbook of 1913. (These would be from 1912, of course.)
