Was it ever known the names of parents or any siblings of Edward John HAMMOND?
Place of birth?

I wish....it would make it so much easier.  Of course, his approximate age, is based on flimsy evidence.  War time volunteers sometimes fudged their ages.

Thanks for looking though, a second set eyes always helps.

It's difficult when you have nothing but a name.

No family stories or memories of his life tales. Perhaps he was just not spoken of. Or nothing passed down.

WA certificates are expensive  but y his with Margaret may contain something to get you started.

Ancestors don't always behave like you want them too, like documenting their lives and not disappearing from view.

Cheers Sue.

Hi,
Well I do  hope leads can be found for you.

Please may I make a request  that when you make a reply to my posts that you please do not include your own words within a quote from me.

Such editing of a quote makes it look as if I have authored and posted  the entire  section being quoted when, actually , part of it is your own thoughts and words. (see above)

It is confusing  and creates inaccuracies.

Please be kind enough to place your responses outside the quote.

I make these remarks with only kind intentions.
