Hello,

I'm trying to trace my family tree back through the family and I am finding information vague and hard to come by.

My great-grandfather was Patrick Canny (Canney) born approx. 1878 and died on 22/04/1958. He was married to Margaret (nee Carney) d. 1983.

Any info beyond my great-grandparents is hard to come by so I'm hoping someone out there has some answers

You haven’t really given enough to work with.
Is this his death in 1958

It gives an age of 73 which gives a birth c1885
Where did you get a birth year c1878.
The c1885 birth seems to fit with this man

No obvious marriage showing up, when would they have married, what year was their first child born.
Where was Margaret from as marriages usually happen in the brides parish.
