I think those that have suggested a link to Scotland are on the right track.

On Scotlands People there is an Alexander Hannah b. 19 April 1920 at 44 Wilson Street, Girvan, father John Hannah locomotive fireman, mother Isabella Hannah nee Allan.

Thank you, I'm not subscribed to Scotlands People, and I can't find the info on Ancestry.

You will not find the information in Ancestry. It is not there.
You will find it on Scotlands People which is not a subscription site.

You will find John McLean Hannah’s birth in 1894 Girvan, and his marriage, and the birth registration of his son Alexander (details already posted).

Unless it's changed since I last researched a Scottish person, you can register with SP for free and do some basic searches. Then buy credits to view the images if you find something promising
Berks / Oxon: Eltham, Annetts, Wiltshire (surname not county), Hawkins, Pembroke, Partridge
Dorset / Hants: Derham, Stride, Purkiss, Sibley
Yorkshire: Pottage, Carr, Blackburn, Depledge
Sussex: Goodyer, Christopher, Trevatt
Lanark: Scott (soldier went to Jersey CI)
Jersey: Fowler, Huelin, Scott
