Familysearch does not list Slipton registers for the date you are after, Ancestry has BT's but there is a large gap 1835 - 1856

  Hi again
I see that about the name Plowman connection, I have come across the
name Plowman in the same Swan/n family  spelt as Ploughman. as the
name is a different family line what name should on use, it seems only
to be with clergy at the time of the event as is the Swan/n, so what name
should one use, its a bit of a quandary, there distinct spellings to day but
    back then. !
I've ordered a marriage cert for Charles so a few folks might find it useful
as my tree is open they can have it.
             regards mickmack
