Could the informant be E Owens? Or, as it's Ireland, E O'(something) - though nothing jumps out at me.

Thank you Arthurk - I have not come across that name in my research of the family but as I mentioned to Calleva I may have to look to see if there was another daughter???

Thank you Arthurk - I have not come across that name in my research of the family...

It might not have been a family member. Their address was the same as where he died, so if as a 97 year old he was still living on his own (by no means certain, of course), there may have been a neighbour who looked in on him regularly.
