I don't think it is a religious mass.  But it will be a Sunday and like some others on here my normal day will include going to Church if I am not on shift.

Yes, it is about the day but having submitted a diary for the last couple of years, I refer to some of the changes I have experienced in that year.

It's going to be a funny sort of day for me, nerves screwing up tighter as the hours pass as I'll be in hospital next day having all my woman's bits removed. So I'll be ticking off whether preparations I've made are adequate.
Perhaps I should go to church that day. But then, my loved ones have all died in May or a year ending in 4 or a combination of both so I'll swerve that.

Oh I feel for you, Susie!  Your feeling nervous is understandable but I do think like Mowsehowse that you will be fine.  Tell yourself they do these ops week in week out.  Everything will be alright or 'Andra tutto bene' as the Italians said during lockdown.
