James Scott 1780-1845 married in 1811 Agnes Watson 1788- 16 Jul 1874
James Scott Jr. 1860-1950 married in 1882 Marion Strang 1861-1946, second wife Jenny?
Charles Wood Scott 1858-1931 married Elizabeth George ? -1926
Charlotte Isobel Scott 1894-1963/73

Marriage of Charles Scott and Elizabeth George, July 1886. The groom's father's address is 'The Orchard' (it was Orchard House at his death in 1903). The bride's address is Dunerbuck (also spelled Dunarbuck elsewhere). This house is associated with the Scott family in several newspaper items in the 20th century, so I assume it became the family residence.

Walter S Scott died in or after 1961

I have made some considerable progress in following up this line of this Scott family, having said that I through others have failed in seeking the following obituaries please.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, comments BNA - British Newspaper Archive, SP Scotland’s People:

James Scott was born 28/5/1860 and died 15/12/1950

married Marion (nee Strang) 1861-1946

I think the coverage of more recent dates (late 20th century onwards) in the BNA is sparse.

There used to be a free online digitised archive of the Glasgow Herald but not sure how recent it was, and I haven't found it just now.

Never trust anything you find online (especially submitted trees and transcriptions on Ancestry, MyHeritage, FindMyPast and other commercial web sites) unless it's an image of an original document - and even then be wary because errors can and do occur.
