If George was born in Dromore (perhaps 1928) you won't find a birth record for him online altho' you could check the GRO.  I note that altho' James was playing for a Dublin team, Mary seemed to have been a resident of Dublin, unless she met him elsewhere and followed  him to Dublin.  Where did James play prior to Dublin?  Have you done your DNA to look for Martin matches?

I have done my DNA and can't match with anyone who has these Martins. I have thousands of Burns links. A very elderly distant relative who knew my grandfather also said my mother was the youngest. James also played for Belfast Celtic. He was capped for Northern Ireland.

Did George survive? Do you have a birth year for him?

Mary may have been working in Dublin. It has been mentioned previously that a Miss K Ryan was living at the address well into the 1940s.

Where and when did George die? Do you have his death record which should at least give us an approximate age?

James played for Glenavon FC in Lurgan in the years prior to his marriage:

I know you have this info, but posting for others in case it provides some small clue for other researchers.

Thanks. Please note his dob is 100% 1893. Not sure if this was a transcript error along the line or deliberate.

Yes that is him. I have his relatives now and working through thousands of them. I did meet him twice. It is my grandmother that I really want to find.
