Denis Dalton has a few charges for Drunkenness in Wicklow and Hacketstown.

I think he might have been in the army in earlier days - Dublin Fusiliers.

Might be what was mentioned about Bridget Byrne & prison record?
Ireland Prison Registers- Bertram Stoker Ors Byrne
https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:6891-GS3Z

I presume so, though I used Anc*stry, where one can see the original record.
There are two records for Bridget, one in 1905, and another in 1906
Both have her as Bridget Stoker, one as alias Byrne, the other as otherwise Byrne,  with husband named as Bertram on both, no surname.

Something that I noticed is that 2 of his 3 daughters from his first marriage are named after his wife and his wifes mother. Elizabeth is his wifes name and Jane is his wifes mothers name, that means Mary could be his mothers name. I don't know who was born first though. I think that Mary might be the youngest daughter.
He does have a daughter called Bridget from his second marriage.

Wouldn't read too much into that. In my grandfather's family the eldest daughter was named for an older sister of his mother, next daughter after sisters of both parents, third daughter after mother & mother's mother but none for father's mother (there were three more daughters) even though they were very fond of father's mother from what I'm told. The eldest son named for father & grandfather, next for mother's father, third for one of mother's brothers who lived near them and youngest for stepson of mother's sister.
