« on: Tuesday 30 April 24 09:10 BST (UK) »
Hi hope someone can help. My 5x Grt Grandfathers dearh recorded  as
Stephen Hardy Allerston Yorkshire , Shepherd , poor 1st April 1782.
Where would his grave be. I assume no gravestone, just wondered what happened if youl were poor. Thanks.

Many churchyards have Burial Indexes that quote a grave reference.
Often worth seeking out.
Try local Family History Society or local Archive.
